Starting Native Plants from Seed

Then we will get to work preparing peat pots with 3 different native seed mixes.

Vegetative Native Plant Propogation

Sunday May 24, 2026
10-12pm

Many native plants are vigorous growers and are easily propagated by division or stem cuttings. Other species are slower growing and need to be handled carefully. Still others are best multiplied by stem cuttings at just the right time of year or by “layering”. In this hand-on workshop we will practice several methods of vegetative plant propagation in the fields and at the potting bench of Conway Natives. Please bring gloves, clippers, and a box to take home your own native plants divisions.
